Jodi Metcalf, LFMT, emphasizes a safe and constructive environment for clients to feel heard and empowered to develop a plan for change. She understands how overwhelming and scary it can be to take the first steps to seek help, and she is here to help clients achieve goals and make positive changes in their lives and relationships.

Jodi earned a BA from North Park University and an MA from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Prior to joining Edgewood, Jodi worked in private practice, university, and community mental health settings. Jodi has also worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum and their families. Jodi is also a Christian counselor and can offer pre-marital counseling.

Jodi is a systems-trained therapist, and has extensive experience working with couples, families, and relational issues. She utilizes Restoration Therapy, strengths-based focus, art therapy, play therapy, coping skills, and mindfulness to help her clients work through their issues.
