Angie Martin, LCPC, believes that each of us has the ability within ourselves for health and self-fulfillment. Sometimes we need an objective observer to help us uncover our unique potential and strengths, and Angie is prepared to be that person.

Angie earned a BA from Whittier College and an MS from Benedictine University. She helps clients of all ages and genders with life transitions, grief (especially as survivors of suicide), depression, anxiety, self-injury, adolescent peer relationships and parent-child relationships. Though each client is different, she often uses mindfulness, yogic breathing, and skill-building techniques in areas of stress management, distress tolerance, emotion management, and interpersonal relationships to assist clients in managing their struggles.

“I am constantly humbled and in awe of the human spirit and I love when clients discover their authentic selves,” she remarks. “I’m here to help my clients live healthy lives in all areas: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.”
