Amanda Kunzer, Community Relations Manager, strives to make the process of getting mental health treatment a smooth, easy process. She is an expert at linking clients to the appropriate people and services Edgewood has to offer.
Amanda earned a degree from Northern Illinois University and is currently both a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Certified Anger Management Specialist. Prior to joining Edgewood, she served as a member of the disaster team for DuPage County and has experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse, anger management, chronic mental illness, and homelessness.
In her community relations role, Amanda actively participates in numerous professional organizations such as the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce (NACC), Chamber630, Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, and more. She is also the NACC Women in Business board chair and was named NACC Woman of the Month in September of 2018.
In addition to her professional achievements, Amanda is committed to giving back to the community. As a Naperville native and resident, she volunteers for Ribfest, Naperville Education Foundation, and anywhere she can be of service. Amanda also contributes her time to the Inside Out Club and Kidsmatter, two DuPage County organizations that focus on educating area youth.
Amanda is proud of Edgewood’s Naperville roots and is determined to erase the stigma of mental illness. She is always ready to connect people to the help they need, and she looks forward to growing into even more communities.
