Why would I need a psychological assessment?

Symptoms that may warrant a psychological assessment include: depression, anxiety, impulsiveness, obsessive behavior, memory problems, adult add, eating disorder, sleep disturbance, and flashbacks to traumatic events.

What is the evaluation process and how long does it take?

The process takes approximately two to three months. The initial testing appointment is scheduled through our client services department, and it may take insurance companies two to three weeks to officially approve psych testing. The psychologist meets with client for two to three face-to-face sessions. Testing feedback and final evaluation will be provided within three to four weeks following the final face-to-face testing session.
