Dr. Ted Cravens believes that is a true sign of maturity to be able to ask for help. His treatment philosophy focuses on mutual respect, cooperation, empowerment, and the belief that each person has an innate growth potential when provided with acceptance, understanding, and the right skills.
Dr. Cravens received graduate degrees from Benedictine University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He also served in the United States Army, and was deployed to Iraq. Dr. Cravens earned numerous awards for his service.
In therapy, Dr. Cravens takes an eclectic approach to accomplish treatment goals. In every case, he meets clients where they are to develop an empathic understanding of their unique needs. Dr. Cravens serves people of all ages struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, pain management, and various other challenges.
