Steffanie is a culturally informed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern who believes that the therapeutic relationship is the most essential element of therapy. She has benefitted from extensive social justice advocacy work and believes in taking a holistic view of each client.
Steffanie has an Integrative, person-centered approach to a broad range of mental health concerns. Using a strength-based system, she works with clients to explore problems, reduce harm, and create meaningful change.
A member of ACA, ICA, and PSI CHI, Steffanie is committed to advocating for greater mental health resources for underserved populations. She attended The University of Wisconsin, where she majored in Psychology and Adler University for her master’s in clinical mental health counseling. She has a special interest in childhood trauma and individuals impacted by the Justice System.
Steffanie enjoys helping people find a greater sense of empowerment, peace, and resiliency. She believes that every client is the expert of their own lives and acts as a guide towards their vision of success.
