Shannon Griffin, LPC, believes it's important to treat each client with warm regard and a willingness to meet them where they are without judgement. Her goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship in an environment where they feel safe to share and grow.
Shannon earned a graduate degree in clinical psychology from Benedictine University and a school counseling certification from National Louis University. Her experience includes serving clients of all ages struggling with life transitions, parenting issues, grief, depression, and family conflict.
In therapy, Shannon uses a variety of modalities including DBT, talk therapy, exposures, and client centered therapy. In every case, she is there to offer support and help each client on the road to healing and positive change.
