Earlier in her career, Samantha provided crisis counseling for adolescents and adults requiring inpatient services and individual counseling for clients looking to improve their emotional wellbeing. She is skilled at treating mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, family conflict, and more. She earned both an undergraduate and graduate degree in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University.
In therapy, Samantha uses a variety of techniques suited to the needs of each client, including evidence based practices, synergistic group dynamics, solution focused practice, and psychodynamic therapy. She believes it is important to set goals early on and sees therapy as a collaborative effort. In every case, Samantha provides support as clients heal and grow.
