Rachel Guy's, LCPC focus of therapy is that therapy is not one size fits all. Rachel likes to pull pieces from different theoretical orientations to best suit the individual. Rachel believes that the client is the expert in their own life and the role of herself as the therapist is to help guide the client to identifying methods to improve overall functioning and well-being that are conducive to their life in a empathic and non-judgmental supportive environment. Rachel also offers art therapy services for clients who are interested in exploring the healing processing through a creative lens.
Rachel Guy has extensive experience in working in community and inpatient psychiatric settings, allowing her to learn how to engage with and provide services to a wide range of clinical diagnoses and socioeconomic statuses.
