I am committed to establish a safe and welcoming space to create a comfortable, trusting environment. Making the decision to begin counseling may be scary or overwhelming, but it can also be very gratifying and freeing. Together, we can overcome obstacles that block our paths to mental and physical health. I believe each client has different needs and therefore like to utilize various therapeutic techniques in order to provide the best level of care. Some of the therapeutic approaches I like to draw from are cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and psycho-educational.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis University and completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Illinois University. I have experience providing services for adolescents (10 and up), teenagers, and adults. I also have experience with providing services for domestic violence and anger management.
