Patrick Mitchell, LCSW, actively engages and challenges clients to reach their treatment goals without delay. He has a great sense of humor and puts clients at ease while they discuss, learn, and grow together. He is patient, thoughtful, and dedicated to helping clients improve their quality of life.
Patrick supports clients age six and up with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral issues, relationship counseling, and more. His therapy style is interactive and based on a collection of knowledge gained over more than 30 years of clinical experience.
In therapy, Patrick is solution-focused and guides clients to identify and develop their own solutions to presenting issues. He mixes concepts, theory, education, and appropriate humor to help clients better understand and recognize the relationship between how one thinks and how one feels and behaves. Patrick takes great pride in watching clients move from feeling overwhelmed to being better equipped to manage their distress, behavior, and decision making.
