Pam Pawelski, LSW, works to provide a comfortable and non-judgmental space for clients to be their true selves. Her aim in therapy is to help individuals to feel heard and accepted, and to help them with their struggles, whether it feeling misunderstood, anxious, overwhelmed, having low self-esteem, or needing professional help recovering from trauma or challenging relationships. Pam works to create a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients to enable trust and compassion through therapy.
In session, Pam is an integrative therapist and meets the client where they are, considering the individual’s interests, spiritual beliefs, and identity. Her therapeutic approaches include person-centered, internal family systems, emotional freedom technique, DBT, hypnosis, and mindfulness.
Pam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago. Pam finds her peace through meditation, gardening, bike riding, and knitting.
