Nicole Heniff, LPC, believes therapy should be a place where a person can come and receive unconditional acceptance and healing through a therapeutic relationship. She works to provide that place with a warm, empathetic, and person-centered approach.
Nicole received an undergraduate degree from Roosevelt University and a graduate degree in counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She helps children, adolescents, and families struggling with behavioral dysregulation, attachment issues, adjustment problems, developmental and identity issues, parenting skills, and more.
In therapy, Nicole utilizes play therapy, art therapy, CBT/DBT, and provides psychoeducation to help clients meet their goals. In every case, she prioritizes safety and highlights each client's strengths throughout the course of treatment.
