Michelle Rogers, LCSW, CADC, recognizes that difficult times in our lives, although stressful and frightening, can provide amazing opportunities for deep healing and transformation. She strives to offer a safe place of acceptance, compassion, understanding, challenge, and support. While change can be difficult, uncomfortable, or overwhelming, her goal is to help you discover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating.
Michelle received a BA from DePaul University and a Masters in Social Work from Aurora University. Her knowledge base includes partnering with individuals and families of all ages struggling with addiction, PTSD/trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, intellectual disabilities, and survivors of sexual abuse.
In therapy, Michelle embraces a holistic approach and uses techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Solution Focused Therapy. She meets you where you are and walks with you, taking you from hurt, despair, and confusion to understanding, healing and wholeness.
