Jamie Simmert, LSW, meets each client where they are and empowers them to play an active role in their recovery process. She creates a safe, non-judgmental environment and strives to make each client feel they are receiving a positive return on the investment in themselves.
Jamie received a BA from Lewis University and is earning an MSW from Aurora University. She has over 17 years of social work experience, 12 of which were in a residential treatment program for adolescent girls and adult women. She works with clients of all ages and has a strong background working with substance abuse, eating disorders, self-injury, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma.
While Jamie implements a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet client needs, she most utilizes DBT, CBT, The 12 Step Program, Trauma-Informed, and Family Systems. Her style is client centered, and she’s there to support her clients as they create a meaningful life.
