About Hannah Schupbach, LCPC, CRSS

Hannah Schupbach works as an accomplished psychotherapist. Clients visit her most typically for services managing anxiety and depressive disorders. Additionally, she can provide clinical assessment and evidenced based art therapy for ages ranging from school aged children to adults. She believes clients are experts in their own life, and as a clinician, it is her job to partner in that process.

Hannah earned her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from North Park University with a minor in Psychology. Following this, she received her master's degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago, IL. While in graduate school, her internships focused on community based mental health services and crisis intervention at an agency that serves individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Additionally, she worked as a research assistant at a nonprofit that focuses on reducing racial inequality within the judicial and prison system.

Hannah has had years of experience in her chosen field. She prides herself on providing clinical services that are rooted in unconditional positive regard, empathy, cultural competency and understanding the social systems that negatively affect mental health. She listens to her clients intently and provides them with honest feedback and a chance to develop coping skills in a non-judgmental safe space. She believes that all clients can grow and prosper when given the time to reflect and with continued support. Hannah believes every person coming to therapy has the capacity to find healing and closure from life's difficulties. She is here to guide clients through that process and helps them develop healthy coping skills to keep in their tool box moving forward.
