Dr. Deina Nemiary, Board Certified Psychiatrist, prides herself on providing compassionate, evidence-based, recovery-oriented care. She helps clients age 12 and up with depression, addiction, trauma, mood disorders, and more.
Dr. Nemiary earned a degree from University of Illinois. She completed her psychiatry residency at Morehouse School of Medicine. At Morehouse, she received the prestigious American Psychiatry Association (APA) Minority Fellowship and presented research nationally at the 2012 APA meeting. Along with academic psychiatry, Dr. Nemiary has experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health care.
Prior to joining Edgewood, Dr. Nemiary served as an assistant professor and led the med-psych unit at University of Alabama, worked as a staff psychiatrist at the U.S. Veterans Affairs Administration, and completed a fellowship at Connecticut VA Healthcare System. During that time, she also held the role of clinical assistant professor in psychiatry at Yale University.
