Dana Dennis, LPC, helps clients gain insight, develop awareness, and promote change to be their best selves. She is genuinely invested in each client's well-being and growth through the therapeutic process.
Dana received an undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and a graduate degree from Adler University. Earlier in her career, Dana worked in outpatient addictions and psycho-social rehabilitation programs providing therapy to those with severe mental illness, intellectual disabilities, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and more.
In therapy, Dana utilizes CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and other modalities to meet client needs. She knows seeking help can be daunting, and she strives to meet clients where they are by creating a safe and supportive environment. In every case, Dana wants clients to feel supported and empowered while learning skills to navigate life's ups and downs.
