Ashley earned a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver and spent 15 years living in Colorado, but has been excited to return to the good ole Midwest! Her career experience includes serving adolescents in a residential treatment environment who were in need of therapy and support to re-engage with the community successfully after being placed out of their homes. Ashley also worked at a behavioral health hospital providing individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults during their short-term hospitalization after experiencing a mental health crisis.
In therapy, Ashley utilizes DBT, CBT, a Trauma-Informed approach, a Solution-Focused approach, a Strengths-Based approach, Systems Theory perspective, and Psychoeducation in order to best meet your needs. In every case, she creates a space that offers solutions and hope.
