Ashley Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship distress, depression, and behavioral disorders. She has several years of experience working with youth and families and provides a safe space to process trauma, identify triggers, develop healthy coping skills, and manage symptoms for greater empowerment. Ashley also has experience working with patients struggling with ADHD and bipolar disorder, Depression, life transitions and Anxiety, and has helped many clients and their families with difficulties related to foster care, adoption, and victims/offenders of sexual abuse.
With a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ashley has worked in non-profit agencies and as a Therapeutic Supervisor providing supervision for residential therapists. She is Level One certified in Theraplay, a program helping children and their parents build healthier relationships through attachment-based play. Ashley is known for using a bit of humor and a lot of empathy, support, and active listening to help clients get through difficult times.
Ashley is passionate about social justice and about working with marginalized groups. Ashley has worked with a vast population of clients from a very young age to adults. She is a strong advocate for members of the LGBTQI+ community. She utilizes several therapeutic modalities while providing treatment including CBT, DBT, REBT, and positive psychology.
