Areta Wasiunec, LPC, helps clients build confidence and implement positive changes to their lifestyle. She believes creating new habits is empowering and finding and living your life’s purpose is a big step towards overall satisfaction.
Areta earned an undergraduate degree from St. Xavier University and a graduate degree from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She works with adolescents, adults and couples with the stress of life transitions, school and workplace struggles, relationship and identity issues, depression, anxiety,
and other mental and behavioral health concerns.
In therapy, Areta takes a holistic approach to achieve overall health and wellness. She believes mental health is just one part of the puzzle piece, so it's important to take care of the mind, body, and spirit. Areta works with clients by meeting them where they are and helping them get to where they would like to be long term. Her goal is to help clients feel empowered, confident, and hopeful, and feeling like they can handle whatever life throws at them.
