Dr. Anna Quistad, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, explores how client strengths and challenges can be used to deal with present difficulties that get in the way of greater health and wholeness. With a special emphasis in providing psychological testing, she collaborates with clients and empowers them to find their voice and build upon areas of resiliency.
Dr. Quistad earned both an M.A. and PsyD from Wheaton College. She then went on to complete two postdoctoral fellowships, one at a residential eating disorder program in Boston, MA, and the other at a psychiatric hospital in the Chicagoland area. Throughout her therapy and testing experience, she helped clients of all ages deal with the effects of trauma, dissociative symptoms, eating disorders, grief, personality disorders, and more. Because of the guiding compassion of others in her own life, Dr. Quistad's approach reflects her passion for seeing people grow and change.
In therapy, Dr. Quistad finds joy walking alongside others as they journey toward a life of renewed direction. She believes there is no circumstance beyond transformation if the person is willing to do the necessary hard work for their unique journey. In every case, she holds the distinct challenges people face in high regard, and has a profound respect for human suffering.
