Amber LeFevour, LMFT, Clinical Supervisor, uses humor and playfulness to connect with her clients. She is down to earth and practical when connecting with clients, and she believes that everyone has a unique story that is worth sharing.
Amber received an undergraduate degree from Bradley University and an MS from Northern Illinois University. Amber’s focus has always been on children and families. She has gained much experience with foster care and adoption, including the systemic and legal issues involved.
Amber has worked with families of international adoption, who have experienced symptoms of Reactive Attachment Disorder. She uses her foundation of Attachment Theory and a trauma informed lens to help families and couples understand the roots of specific behaviors. Amber is also comfortable using elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to help clients find their best self.
