What are the benefits of Group Therapy?
Group therapy is especially beneficial for this age group as it allows girls to maintain friendships, express emotions, learn coping skills, build confidence, and improve self-esteem. Foundations provides an open space to explore self-identity.
Are there any requirements to join this group?
Your child must be going into Grades 6, 7 or 8. Unless otherwise specified, you and your child must meet with group facilitator for an enrollment session to ensure your child is a good fit for group.
How many children are in the group?
The group typically has up to nine girls at any given time.
What is the cost?
The group fee is typically covered by insurance. If paying out-of-pocket, the session fee is $70.
How do I enroll my child?
Call Client Services at 630-428-7890, Ext 320 to schedule an enrollment session for you and your child. At your consultation, we will discuss your background and reasons for seeking group therapy. If your child is a good fit and the group has an opening, your child will immediately be enrolled. If the group is full following your session, your child will be put on a waitlist and you’ll be notified when space is available.
