Deb Brozewski, LCPC, CADC, is collaborative and non-judgmental, knowing the decision to enter therapy can be difficult. Deb assists clients in assessing and developing strengths to empower positive and healthy decisions.
Deb received both a BA and an MA from Northern Illinois University. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse, psychiatric illness, developmental delays, and abuse/trauma experiences. Deb also has a passion for working with the LGBT community and is attune to the obstacles that individuals of this community may face.
Deb believes individuals have a great capacity to achieve maximum potential when provided with the right therapeutic environment, and she is committed helping her clients reach their goals.
1. Participants will identify the types of trauma and the connection between trauma and addiction.
2. Participants will gain an understanding of how trauma and addiction disrupt healthy functioning of relationships
3. Participants will learn about interventions that can be employed with addicted individuals who are trauma survivors.
