TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
When working with children and adolescents, we strive to
help young people learn to manage the challenges in their
lives that prevent them from achieving their potential.
We will join with the child and family in an exploration
of these challenges, work collaboratively with schools or
other providers as necessary, and provide goal-directed
treatment that will assist the family in achieving their
stated objectives.
Our goal when working with couples is to assist in identifying
and resolving the issues that prevent their relationship
from continuing to grow. We will help the couple work together
to find the happiness that first brought them together with
a supportive and goal-directed approach.
When counseling individual adults, our clinicians will
be supportive and non-judgmental in listening to the struggles
that they are facing, being sure to understand the situation
so they can then give feedback that is both practical and
effective in resolving the identified difficulties.
